Meet the Team

Dr. Dean Zaneteas

PT, MS, DPT, CEEAA, Certified Clinician in Hip Preservation, HSS

Dean graduated from the University of New England in 1987. He has been a physical therapist focusing on orthopedics for over thirty-five years.

In 1995, he earned a Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a specialty in Motor Control from the University of Indiana. In 2012, he obtained his DPT from Long Island University. He is a Certified Exercise Expert (CEEAA) with the elderly through the American Physical Therapists Association (APTA). He is also a Certified Clinician in Hip Preservation through the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Dean held the position of Director of Outpatient Physical Therapy at Methodist Hospital where he was instrumental in introducing and developing the outpatient pediatrics department at Methodist Hospital and various satellites.

Specialties include treating the condition of torticollis, as well as many others. His aim is to provide the knowledge and training to make patients more independent while promoting healthy lifestyle changes.

Dean is also a nationally Certified Instructor and Master in the art of Tae Kwon Do and received his black belt in 1973. He regularly trains and teaches children in various schools and programs throughout New York City as part of the World Martial Arts Association.
